Our Process

Step 1

Inspection and Assessment - BOSS IICRC-certified technicians will thoroughly inspect the immediate fire or water damage and any hazardous areas. Next, we prepare an immediate remediation plan. This may include identifying the type of water (clean, grey, black water or soot, mold, etc.) and the affected materials, such as walls, floors, ceilings, and furniture. BOSS will also help with packing, removing, and storing any home contents necessary.

NOTE: It is essential to get the most out of your insurance adjuster to allow BOSS technicians to remediate and restore the property.

Step 2

Water Extraction and Removal of Hazardous Material—Wet areas are prioritized, and professional-grade equipment, such as pumps, suction mats, and dehumidifiers, are placed to remove standing water and completely dry excess moisture to prevent further damage. Any structural areas that need to be removed due to fire or hazard is also performed

Step 3

Documentation - Throughout all stages of the damage control and restoration, BOSS will take photos and video to create a complete documentation of the disaster and restoration process to ensure the property was adequately treated and for insurance providers.

Step 4

Cleaning and Sanitization - All affected surfaces, including walls, floors, and furniture, are cleaned, disinfected, and sanitized to remove contaminants and prevent mold and bacterial growth.

Step 5

Mold Remediation - If the water damage is remediated quickly there should be no mold. However, if mold is detected during the inspection or restoration process, proper mold remediation procedures are followed to safely remove and prevent further mold growth.

Step 6

Restoration and Repairs - This may involve repairing or replacing damaged materials such as drywall, flooring, and furniture. The goal is to restore the property to its pre-damaged condition.
